Freshfields represents Circularis Partners in GP-led continuation fund transaction
Freshfields Private Funds & Secondaries (PFS) team represented Circularis Partners in connection with a GP-led continuation fund transaction involving the sale by TPG Alternatives and Renewables Technology Partners of its assets to a buyer group led by Arena Partners. The assets acquired by the continuation fund include six separate "impact" investments, located in Brazil, the US and UK, and operating in the food & agriculture, industrials & construction and energy & mobility sectors.
The Freshfields team was led by partners Tim Clark, counsel Keith Chapman, and associates Rosie Jiang, Nathalie Kupfer and Christina Mikhaylova. Tax advice was given by partner Joe Soltis and associates Jessica Berman and Courtney Canning.
