Freshfields elects 20 new counsel

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has announced the appointment of 20 individuals to counsel, effective from 1 May 2018. The promotions reflect the strength of our global talent and include individuals from Brussels, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hong Kong, London, Madrid, Moscow, New York, Paris, Singapore, Vienna and Washington, D.C.

These appointments recognise the significant talent and hard work shown by these senior lawyers from across our firm. The role of counsel is the most senior legal role in the firm below that of partner. The key requirements for the role are that an individual has exceptional legal expertise and excels in providing a professional service to clients.
