Profil Jeremy Tan

Jeremy is a counsel in our global transactions group, based in our Singapore office. He has extensive experience advising corporates and financial investors on a variety of corporate mandates, with a focus on cross-border M&A and joint venture transactions.

Jeremy has particular expertise in the energy and natural resources sector. Since joining the firm in 2016, Jeremy has acted for clients on many of their most significant energy and natural resources M&A transactions in the Asia-Pacific region and globally. Jeremy also advises sellers and buyers on their LNG supply agreements and other hydrocarbon offtake arrangements.

Jeremy was also recognised by Asian Legal Business as a Rising Star in Singapore, in its 2024 edition. 

 

Mandate

  • Advising MedcoEnergi on its farm-in to the Block 60 and Block 48 EPSAs in the Sultanate of Oman.
  • Advising Jadestone Energy on its acquisition of interests in the Sinphuhorm concessions in Thailand.
  • Advising Repsol on the completed US$212.5m sale of its portfolio of upstream operated assets in Malaysia and Vietnam to Hibiscus Energy.
  • Advising Udenna Corporation on its acquisition of Chevron's interests in the Malampaya gas field in the Philippines
  • Advising KKR-backed platform Mandala Energy on the sale of its entire participating interest in the Lemang Block, an upstream oil and gas asset in Indonesia, to Jadestone Energy.
  • Advising BP on all aspects of its investment in, and the development of, terminal and storage facilities at Khor Al Zubayr in Southern Iraq.
