Profil Ziyad Nassif
Ziyad is a corporate and M&A partner based in our London office.
Ziyad acts for corporate and institutional clients on cross-border transactions, including public and private M&A. He advises clients across a broad range of sectors, including tech, media, education and retail.
Ziyad also regularly advises listed companies on corporate governance matters and is a member of the CLLS Company Law Committee.
Ziyad has previously been seconded to Freshfields’ Dubai office as well as Pearson plc's corporate finance and strategy team.
He is fluent in Arabic.

- Apple on a series of acquisitions of software / tech businesses in Europe.
- AB InBev on its divestments of Carlton & United Breweries and of its Peroni, Grolsch and Meantime businesses to the Asahi Group.
- Allied Universal on its acquisition of G4S plc
- Cazoo on its Series D funding round and acquisition of Imperial Car Supermarkets prior to its de-SPAC.
- Carta Inc. on its acquisitions of equity management and fund administration platform businesses Capdesk and Vauban
- Deliveroo on its proposed tender offer to return up to £250 million to shareholders
- Ferguson on its additional listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
- Flutter Entertainment on its additional listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
- Indivior on its additional listing on the NASDAQ Global Select Market
- Lloyd’s Register on the sale of its business assurance and inspection services division
- Lloyd’s Register on the acquisition of OneOcean
- Lloyd’s Register on the acquisition of Ocean Technologies Group
- Mubadala on its acquisition of Calisen plc as part of a consortium of investors
- Pearson on its successful defence of Apollo’s takeover offer
- Pearson on various acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures, including the sale of its Online Programme Management (OPM) business, the sale of the Financial Times Group, the sale of its 50 per cent stake in The Economist Group and the Penguin Random House joint venture.
