Kornelius is a Principal Associate in our Düsseldorf office and a member of our People and Reward practice group.
One focus of his work is advising on employment law reorganisations and corporate restructurings, including staff reduction measures. In addition, Kornelius advises clients on the personnel aspects of M&A transactions, including the associated post-closing integration.
Kornelius regularly assists clients in negotiations with works councils, including negotiations on balance of interests and social plans, the introduction of flexible working arrangements and the use of new IT systems.
He also represents clients in individual and collective labour law disputes.
Kornelius also plays a leading role in the development of labour law legal tech solutions, such as severance calculators or social selection tools.
He speaks German and English.
