Roberto is an International Associate in our Washington DC office.
Roberto specializes in international arbitration, focusing on Latin America-related disputes. He has advised clients across a wide array of industries, including construction, energy, mining, telecommunications, insurance, food, technology, real estate, and finance. He has advised clients in arbitrations under the ICSID, ICC, LCIA and HKIAC rules.
Before joining Freshfields, Roberto worked at a leading arbitration and litigation boutique in Mexico City. He has extensive experience in civil, commercial, and administrative litigation before Mexican domestic courts.
Roberto is fluent in both English and Spanish.
